Jungmannova Street, Prague 1 is located in a quiet part of Nove Mesto built by Charles IV. in 1378. In the past, it belonged to the main arterial road connecting Karlovo Square and the Old Town. Originally it was called Zvonarska “Bell Street” after the bell makers who were settled there. These bell factories disappeared in the late 19th century. The current street name has been employed since 1878, when the statue of Josef Jungmann, a prominent Czech revivalists, linguist, poet and translator, was erected at a nearby square. The famous Baroque sculptor Matthias Bernard Braun used to live at the corner of Jungmannova and Vodickova Street. He authored several statues on the Charles Bridge. The apartment is located between two main Prague squares – Charles and Wenceslav Square. Charles Square is actually one of the largest squares in Europe. The apartment is also very close to public transport: a minute from the tram stop Vodickova and a few minutes from the metro.
Apartment use and noise: you commit to take care of the apartment and respect neighbours, particularly by respecting the interdiction of making noise between 22:00 (10 and 7 a.m. (which could result in 100 euros fine deducted from the damage deposit if neighbours complain about you and the police testify against you). Prague has many great places to party outside, and we wish you to enjoy it at best, the apartment is greatly located for that ;-)

Reviews for this property
Well appointed, good location, a bit loudRandal K. from Colorado Springs United States, 26. September 2018 Stayed for 6 days in September, 2018
We had the opportunity to stay at Mila for around a week in mid September.
Locating it was pretty straightforward - we used their driver to get us from/to the airport, and that really made it easy to get our bearings, would recommend that.
Upon entering we were greeted with a LARGE flat. 4 rooms with beds, two of which are very big, and two of which are quite small, and a very large living room. It was surprisingly big.
All the furnishings are very modern, and the entire interior clearly rolled out of an Ikea -- I have the same plates at home! Very crisp, modern finish, and everything was VERY clean and well maintained.
Location was pretty good, ~2 blocks from Wenceslas Square, Narodni/National road (tons of stuff there), and maybe a 12-15 minute walk from Old Town. Ubers are plentiful, so no problem getting around.
Overall, would definitely recommend it - huge flat with all the amenities in a good location.
The elevator to the flat is cold war era, but a bit weird for an American.
The location can be loud if you leave the windows open at night due to late-night folks and the solid facades of buildings bouncing the sound around.
In the EU, dryers can take forever due to economy and no in-unit venting; not a knock against Mila, we just didn't know :)
Amazing visit to PragueKeller United States, 19. June 2018 Stayed for 5 days in June, 2018
Our stay in Prague was wonderful because of the location and experience we had at this rental. The location is excellent as it's close to the attractions, metro, restaurants, etc. We couldn't have asked for a better rental property. Highly Recommended.
Great apartment, great location.Burnley United Kingdom, 24. October 2017 Stayed for 6 days in October, 2017
This apartment was a great place to stay. The location was ideal... very near to the tourist centre of Prague but surprisingly quiet considering that we were the city centre. There was just a small amount of noise at the weekend but that is to be expected in a capital city. It was very spacious, clean and had everything we needed and more! All communications with rentego were hassle free. I am sure we will use the same company, if not the same apartment for future visits to Prague.
